Congratulations to Katie's Inc. of Dry Fork, VA. The business is the winner of the Sharpie 500 Race Package. The Sharpie 500 will be run at the Bristol Raceway in Bristol, TN on August 23, 2008.

2008 DVF Foodservice Named Finalist for International Award-San Antonio, TXDVF Foodservice was named a finalist for the 2008 Outstanding Incubator Graduate award in the nontechnology category by the National Business Incubation Association. The marketing and purchasing departments of DVF Foodservice were located in the Dan River Business Center. Since graduating from the Business Center in 2007, DVF Foodservice has built a team of 60 employees. The company purchased a new 76,000 square foot warehouse and office facility and expandeded the on-site cash & carry "The Market" from a 6,000 square foot shopping experience to an 18,000 square foot facility that meets the needs of individual consumers, caterers, restuarant and business operatiors and provides fundraising opportunities for local groups.
